Position Summary
At Crystal Creek, a Household Associate is an active, skilled member of the resident household, who is committed to providing residents with assistance and care in all aspects of their daily life, and with overall functioning of the household. He/She provides physical assistance with ADLs, and provides psychosocial well-being through meaningful relationships and person-centered social activities. This full-time position can vary between 30-40 hours per week.
Essential Duties
Assisting residents with activities of daily living according to resident care plan
Transferring and getting residents to and from activities and meals according to their resident care plan
Serving meals to residents either in the dining room or in their suite
Reporting changes in a resident's condition, eating habits, or behaviors to supervisor
Housekeeping tasks in resident suites and common areas
Engaging residents in meaningful and purposeful activities and interactions
Qualifications
Minimum 18 years of age
High School Diploma or GED
Previous experience in health services, and/or dementia knowledge required
Good communication & customer service skills
Must be able to pass a drug screen
CNA certification a plus
MUST ENJOY WORKING WITH SENIORS!
Competencies
Must be able to physically perform the duties of the job
Must be able to accurately take and record vitals
Must be CPREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
