Apartment Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of repair and maintenance tasks for our apartment homes and grounds in an assigned service area. Responsibilities include providing timely and cost effective repair and maintenance of all types of equipment, appliances, and general repairs; ensuring that the property is maintained and in good repair at all times, to achieve the highest possible level of customer satisfaction.
Daily tasks include but are not limited to:
Maintains the property grounds; clean up and trash removal, clearing walks, lots, and curbs.
Unit turnover; tear down and maintenance of vacant apartments to make ready.
Work orders; completing resident work order requests in a professional and timely manner.
Preventative maintenance and repair on HVAC and other mechanical systems.
Snow removal; performs mechanical and manual snow removal and salting in all weather conditions.
Keeping all facilities organized, operational, and in good working condition; areas include the office and clubroom, maintenance shop, laundry center, utility rooms, and pool area.
On-call; respond to after-hour emergency calls.
Requirements are as follows:
Experience in multi-family/residential properties.
HVAC certification is preferred.
Have detailed knowledge of make ready unit turns, including light carpentry, plumbing and electrical.
Must have basic set of tools.
Candidates must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
