In our automotive operations, we have a full range of stamping capabilities in the 100 ton to 800 ton range, in multiple locations.

Laser Cutting GNS is a recognized leader in the use of laser technologies, GNS utilizes multi-axis laser cutting technology.
Our multi-axis lasers are used for both prototyping and our large volume production for the automotive industry.
In addition to cutting flat metal, GNS provides trimming and hole piercing services for three-dimensional parts.
Our lasers have the versatility to cut a variety of metals with varying thickness and degrees of complexity.
Welding At GNS, we use spot welding in the welding of Ultra High Strength Steel and Press Hardening parts.
Our welding and assembly cells are highly automated.
We use automated robots to perform several of the most complex and precise operations inside the welding cells to achieve maximum cost reduction and ensure we produce the highest quality products for our customers.
All 3 work areas will require applicants to have a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a high level of attention to detail.
It is important to note that due to the type of machinery we run, the temperatures in the plant will be high with high humidity as well.
Hot Stamp Operator Essential
Responsibilities:
Assist in set-up and operate equipment to harden, anneal and heat-treat metal parts.
Start the equipment, monitor their operations, and record operational data.
Performs first piece inspection and identifies in Plex conformance/non-conformance.
Follow production schedules to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, dimensions and tolerances, furnace temperatures and heat cycle requirements.
Inspect completed parts to verify conformance to specifications, using micrometers, gauges, calipers, etc.
Observe flow and unload/stock parts into containers.
Clean and lubricate machines.
Correctly identifies and handles non-conforming products.
Correctly handles and identifies scrap using Plex during and after production shift.
Correctly handles an identifies finished products using Plex.
Welding Operator Perform welding operations following general instructions and according to established shop practices.
Feed work piece into welding machine to join or bond components.
Observe and listen to welding machine and its gauges to ensure welding process meets specifications.
Turn and press controls, such as cranks, knobs, and buttons to adjust and activate welding process.
Lay out, fits, or tack work pieces together, using hand tools.
Stops and opens holding device on welding machine, using hand tools.
Examine metal product or assemblies to ensure specifications are met.
Positions and adjusts fixtures, attachments, or work pieces on machine, using hand tools.
Correctly handles scrap during and after production.
Laser Operator Under supervision you must be able to run a Laser cell per required job target.
A Laser Entry Level to Level One operator will be able to execute all production and quality procedures.
Must be able to inspect part in Gauge, understand the customer packing requirements.
You must be able to fill out tags properly.
A Laser operator should always maintain a clean working environment.
5S the cell.
There should not be hand prints on guarding, all garbage must be picked up.
True Control 1000 screen will be clean.
Robot panels should not have any debris on top of cabinet.
Safety First:
When an operator sees a potential hazard he needs to bring these items to the production supervisor.
Lockout/ Tagout.
Laser Operators must be able to run target numbers with minimum issues.
