I'm a franchise owner looking for an Operations Manager and Business Partner for one of the fastest growing fencing companies in the nation.
Experience with fencing is a plus but not required.
It's more important that the Operations Manager/Partner is skilled at managing people vs installing fences.
This is a new location within the brand that will be opening in the metro Detroit area around Canton.
We aren't just a standard fencing company.
We use unique methods for installation that makes us more efficient and results in a much better product than the competition.
An ideal candidate for this position must be detail-oriented, high-energy, and have an unrelenting passion for excellence and exceeding customer and team member expectations.
I currently own several businesses in several different industries, so I'm looking for a full-time operational manager for this business.
I'm looking for someone who would like to gain ownership in the company (without having to invest any money) and run the company like an owner vs an employee.
I have done this with two other individuals in other businesses I'm in and would be happy to provide their contact information for a reference.
Any profits associated with the ownership equity would be compensation up and above the base salary.
The most important aspect in running a business is focusing on the people, making sure we have the Right People in the Right Seats.
I'm obsessed with making sure my team members feel valued as individuals vs numbers.
An ideal candidate for an Operations Manager in this business must also be obsessed with growing and managing people, constantly looking to put the right people in the right seats and then doing everything possible to make sure they don't get demotivated.
Responsibilities Include:
Staffing - Hiring/Firing/Training fence installers, salespeople, warehouse staff, and office staff KPIs - Focusing on the key metrics of the business to make sure the business is growing properly and operating with a healthy profit margin Ensuring Customer Satisfaction - Making sure all our customers are taken care of and given a good experience vs simply feeling processed Fencing - Gaining a knowledge of the entire process (from sales to ordering materials to prepping for the install team to installing fence) to properly oversee the business.
NOTE:
While fencing experience isn't required, the Operations Manager will need to intricately learn how to install a fence, not to install fences, but to ensure our team members are installing fences the right way.
