Role responsibilities As the central administrative support for Canton Maintenance Depot, this is a role that will involve effectively communicating across the depot where you will work to provide an effective administration service for relevant departments whilst aiding in the day-to-day colleague management and operations within the Fleet function.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Provide highly professional, efficient, approachable, and flexible support to the fleet team as required including local record keeping, maintenance of local personnel records, arranging medicals, and management of fatigue and monitoring of time and attendance system.
Assist the Depot manager and the Team/s, in ensuring the upmost efficiency and accuracy of the Depots record keeping, information sharing and day to day Team organisation; aiding to the Safety, reliability and availability targets are consistently met and improved.
Maintain and develop record keeping, systems and files including personnel files, Rosters, leave, medical records etc.
Update local information sharing media and manage the day-to-days system administration and train maintenance systems as required.
Provide dedicated clerical and administrative support to the Fleet team and Management.
Who we're looking for Knowledge of administrative business principles, practices and procedures An ability to project manage and prioritise work under pressure Excellent communication skills with an ability also to use own initiative and work independently A clear focus on high quality, attention to detail and excellent organisational skills A natural forward planner who can adapt to changing circumstances and working practices Welsh Language Skills The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
Transport for Wales supports and promotes the use of the Welsh Language by employees and will encourage them to develop, improve and maintain their Welsh Language skills.
